Ahoy hoy! So this is me, the person behind ‘Bona Yarns’. At the time of writing, I’m a 52 year old queer man living in the vibrant neighbourhood of Peckham, South East London.
I’m a massive fan of colour in all its permutations, so dyeing allows me to play around with it to my big old heart’s content.
I also work as a qualified therapist, specialising in substance misuse, addictions, codependency and trauma.
When I’m not at work, you’ll find me knitting (obvs), or volunteering at recovery groups. Other than yarn and knitting, my passions are good food, baking, vintage Barbie and travel.
