PRE-ORDER: 'Taste The Queer Rainbow' - 39 x 20g Miniskein Neon Gradient - Fingering/4-Ply & DK
Please note - this is a pre-order. Yarns will be dyed in the new year, with a dispatch at the end of April. Whilst I have run behind with the advents this year, I’m heading in to ‘25 with much less on my plate and time and space to primarily focus on dyeing.
A neverending neon gradient, taking you all around the fluorescent colour wheel.
The gradient set comprises 39 neon/fluorescent shades that all glow under UV/black light, dyed on 20g miniskeins. Photos show the set dyed on my ‘Good Fingering’ base and were taken when the set was 37 shades. The two new shades are either side of the neon yellow, to smooth out those transitions a little more.
Choose from:
‘Good Fingering’ - a 4-ply fingering yarn, 100% Superwash Merino. 20g = 80m/87yds (approx). Mulesing-free.
OR
‘Hi-Def DK’ - a 100% superwash Merino DK, 8-ply construction. 20g = 50m/54yds (approx). Mulesing-free.
The blanket pictured was knit using one set of the DK minis, with 8×100g skeins of a contrasting DK.
As with any hand dyed yarn, hand washing in cold water is recommended. Please note - my fluorescent yarns are prone to some light bleeding, so prolonged soaking is not recommended
Due to variations in monitors etc., colour may appear slightly different in real life. I do, however, try my very best to accurately represent my wares.
My home and studio are smokeless. We do have a cat, but he’s not allowed in my room and he doesn’t knit, but I can’t rule out the possibility of a stray cat hair getting in to the yarns.
