'Brand New Day (A Cowl)’ features stunning Fair Isle patterns and is knit using a regular skein of Wollmeise ‘Pure’ and a set of 10 mini-skein ‘Birdies’, also from Wollmeise. I used ‘Natur’ for the background and the ‘Pippi-Lotta’ set.
Knit entirely in the round, ’Brand New Day (A Hat) is a Fair Isle beanie made using yarn left over from knitting the matching cowl (available separately in my Etsy shop).
It is designed for a 21” (53cm) head, but will stretch to fit larger heads (it fits my 24 (60cm) head.
Knit in the round with 3.5mm (US 4) & 2.75mm (US 2) needles.
