You will receive a PDF knitting pattern to create your very own 'Brand New Day' infinity scarf/cowl. The stranded design is charted, the rest of the pattern is written instructions.
'Brand New Day (A Cowl)’ features stunning Fair Isle patterns and is knit using a regular skein of Wollmeise ‘Pure’ and a set of 10 mini-skein ‘Birdies’, also from Wollmeise. I used ‘Natur’ for the background and the ‘Pippi-Lotta’ set.
Knit entirely in the round, it starts with a provisional cast-on and ends with joining the two ends together with Kitchener stitch (a video link showing the technique is included), with a twist added in to create a Moebius loop.
Size can be adjusted by knitting at a tighter gauge and made narrower by omitting a chart repeat.
Knit in the round with 3.5mm (US 4) needles.
Gauge: 34 stitches by 34 rows.
Finished Dimension: 28cm (approx 11”) depth, 90cm (approx 35.5”) circumference.
